At UroChithi, privacy is not a compliance checkbox. It is the foundational pillar that allows genuine human vulnerability to exist.
Cryptographic Anonymity
When you send an anonymous letter, your sender ID is never associated with the letter record or exposed in API payloads.
Private Media Storage
All photo attachments are stored in private storage buckets, accessible only to verified recipients via temporary signed URLs.
Zero Public Scraping
Sealed letters and invitations are unlisted by default. They are never indexed by public search directories or search engines.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and preferred username to establish your personal letterbox. When you compose a letter or invitation, we store your written content, attached photographs, occasion details, and optional music selections so that your recipients can experience the keepsake.
2. Anonymous Letters Architecture
When a visitor drops an anonymous letter into your letterbox, the letter record is created with sender_id = NULL and is_anonymous = true. No personal identification, email, or profile reference is stored on the message record or delivered through in-app notifications.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
You maintain total dominion over your letters and invitations. Deleting a letter or invitation permanently removes the record and cleans up associated media assets. You may request full account deletion at any time from your settings panel.
